Karen and Jim Schutters

Owners, Karen and Jim Schutters, bring 25 years of experience to Priority Fitness.

Karen holds a B.A. in Fitness Leadership from Aurora University and an M.A. in Psychology from National-Louis University.

Jim, a graduate of Northwestern University, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Both Karen and Jim are Certified Personal Trainers through the American Council on Exercise since 1997 and 1994, respectively. They both have considerable experience helping clients with special needs and health concerns, as well as healthy individuals wishing to sustain an active lifestyle.

Each person receives personal attention, reliable and updated fitness and nutritional information, and safe, effective exercise programming. We find the perfect exercise program for each individual.

Priority Fitness Personal Trainers

Heather Paul has held a Personal Training certificate through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) since 2001. She is also Yogafit Level 1 & 2  certified and instructs the Power Yoga classes at Priority Fitness.

Chris Grygiel has been certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 2001 and holds an advanced certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Kelly Brown has been certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise since 2003. Kelly holds an Associates Degree in Nutrition, Fitness and Health from Purdue University, Calumet.

Victor Peoples is certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Purdue University, Calumet.
