Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does a Personal Trainer do for me?

A: In a nutshell, a personal trainer will evaluate you and your goals, design a safe and effective exercise program, and provide support and motivation during each workout. For greater details on what a trainer does and what to look for in a personal trainer, check out the page Hiring A Personal Trainer.

Q: What happens during my training session?

A: A typical visit to Priority Fitness begins with you warming up for a few minutes on a Treadmill, Bike, or Elliptical Cross Trainer before your session starts with your Personal Trainer. You will always meet with the same Personal Trainer at Priority Fitness, who will guide you through a series of strength exercises chosen to suit your goals and abilities. We are by your side evaluating exercise technique and motivating you throughout the workout to achieve maximal results. Cardiovascular exercise intervals, balance training, and stretching activities may also be incorporated into your workout program. Our primary goal at Priority Fitness is to provide you with a sense of accomplishment and to make you feel better by the end of your session.
