karen & jim schutters
Owners Karen and Jim Schutters bring 25 years of experience to Priority Fitness. Karen holds a B.A. in Fitness Leadership from Aurora University and an M.A. in Psychology from National-Louis University. Jim, a graduate of Northwestern University, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Both Karen and Jim are Certified Personal Trainers through the American Council on Exercise since 1997 and 1994, respectively. They both have considerable experience helping clients with special needs and health concerns, as well as healthy individuals wishing to sustain an active lifestyle.

VICTOR PEOPLES— If you are looking to build muscle through a traditional strength program, Vic is the trainer for you. His no-nonsense approach to fitness begins with primary movements which form an excellent base of strength and expands to a results-oriented system of resistance training meant to give his clients strength they never thought possible. A patient yet persuasive trainer, Vic truly listens to what his clients want, and then delivers!

KELLY BROWN— One of the “Jillians” of Priority Fitness, Kelly presents a results-oriented approach with an emphasis on functional fitness, flexibility, and fun! After a session with her, muscles you never thought you had will be screaming for more. Kelly’s expansive exercise variety will smartly challenge beginners and will shock even the most seasoned exerciser.
